TO BE THANKFUL

Hello friends,

November has been a full month of ups and downs, and I know it isn't just me. Today, I want to share with you some ups, to inspire us to remember that all things come around eventually. The downs are not forever things. I wish there was good news on a global level to share, but for now, here's what newness is looking like for me and those in my small circle. I have much to be grateful for, and all of you who have been supporting me and following me are part of that "much." I appreciate you and all you do to keep mending the world with me.

                                           COLLECTIVE TREASURES III

Fundraiser for Palestine, with incredible donations from incredible people!

As many of you know, this textile sale has taken place at La Huipilista Artspace for the last two years in a row, both of which benefitted Casa de ABBA. Support for this migrant safehouse has been and remains in my heart. Thank you for having supported them with me, and I hope that this year, you will help me in support of Palestine. As you can expect from the last two sales, the donations this time have been exceedingly generous and outrageously TEXTILICIOUS.

This month also brings an interview I did a month or so ago, in Art and Time, a new online zine. I'm grateful to the publisher and writer, Claudia Sangines, for her insight and interest. I hope the link works for you, and that you enjoy reading it.

Coming in 2025:

In January, I'll be returning to Oaxaca to speak at the OLL on Thursday, January 23. Mark your calendar, and expect more details to follow when the tix go on sale.

While in Oaxaca, we'll have an expoventa of the Witness Quilts at the beautiful El Diablo y La Sandia on Saturday, January 25.

Until soon, I wish you all the best of holiday preparations, a sharing with those in need, and for all the world, an end to the bombing in Palestine and Lebanon. May peace reign.
