SIX YEARS!
September has been all it promised to be, which is more than many of us can even handle. From the opening of "Faces of the Migrants / Los Rostros de los Migrantes" to the weeklong Independencia fiestas, it's been a whirlwind.
The opening of the migrant show at Casa Europa welcomed around 300 people in a span of 3 hours. Many sales on my part, thank you to all who supported ABBA House with your purchases.
My artist talk for the migrant show was fully loaded with an engaged and appreciative audience, for which I am always grateful. Even more art was sold on this day, and as you may remember, 50% of the sales will benefit the new longterm facility for migrants in Celaya.
And finishing up the month is the 6th anniversary of La Huipilista Artspace, and the date has been moved to Thursday, the 28th. If you're in San Miguel, I hope you'll come by. If you're out of town, I hope you'll be here in spirit.
